If two A.P’s have same common difference, then the difference between their corresponding terms is also same.
i.e., let A.P1 and A.P2 be 2 A.P’s
a1 (A.P1) - a1 (A.P2) = a2 (A.P1) - a2 (A.P2) = ........= a4 (A.P1) - a4 (A.P2) = ...... = an (A.P1) - an (A.P2)
Therefore in the above case, difference between the 4th terms = difference between the 1st terms = (-1) - (-8) = -1 + 8 = 7.
