let the common difference be 'd'.

  • then the fourth term of first series is given by ;

4th term: -1 + 3d ;

  • now the fourth term of second series is given by ;

4th term: -8 + 3d;

the difference between the fourth terms to these two series is ;

=> (-1 + 3d) -(-8 + 3d) = 8 - 1

= 7

Hope this helps you ✌️✌️☺️☺️☘️☘️
