Two APs have the same common difference. The first term of one of these is -1 and that of the other is –8. Then the difference between their 4th terms is..?

For first A.P,

T₁ = (-1)

d = d₀

T₄ = (-1) + 3d₀

For second A.P,

T₁ = (-8)

d = d₀

T₄ = (-8) + 3d₀

So, difference in fourth terms of both A.Ps

= {(-1) + 3d₀} - {(-8) + 3d₀}

= 7
