Answer:

Distance covers by A athlete =6km/h×0.6h=3.6km

Distance covers by B athlete =4km/h×0.6h=2.4km

So, difference ; 3.6-2.4= 1.2 km

1.2 km is your ans.

Answer:

333.33 m

Step-by-step explanation:

speed of first athlete = 6 km/hr

speed of second athlete = 4 km/hr

time = 10 mins = 1/6 hr

distance covered by first athlete = 6 × 1/6 = 1 km

distance covered by second athlete = 4 × 1/6 = 2/3 km

∴ difference = 1 - (2/3) = 1/3 km

1 km = 1000m

so, 1/3 km = 1000/3

                  =  333.33 m

hence, distance between them after 10 minutes = 333.33 m
