Two atomic species A and B have 17 protons in their nuclei but A has 18 neutrons and B has 20 neutrons. i)What are the mass numbers of A and B. II)How are they related to each other. iii)Why chemical properties of A and B will be same ​

Atomic mass=number of protons+number of neutrons

Atomic mass of X = 6+6=12

Atomic mass of Y =6+8=14

Both X and Y have same atomic number but different atomic mass number so they are isotopes.
