let us consider, we have two balls P and Q and having the masses of 20 kg and also 25 kg respectively.  And When they collide to each other with a constant velocity on the smooth of horizontal surface, Both the balls will be move in the opposite direction after the collision. However, on the other hand the balls of velocity move backward does not remain constant as before. The reason is that behind. the ball Q has exerted more force on ball P and as we know that .it is greater in mass.so we can say that; the more energy is transferred from ball Q to P. So the ball P will move back with more speed as compared to ball Q.
