Two balls a and b are thrown from a building a is thrown vertically upwards and b is vertically downwards if VA and vb are their velocity on reaching the ground what's the relation between VA and vb

Va= Vb..bcz first A moves upwards and velocity become zero ...then it returns to the top of tower and moves down ward...and starts with velocity which is equal to velocity of b at top of the tower...so they strike at same velocity ..condition is their initial velocity must be same when thrown

let be the time in which ball b reaches ground so , vb = -u-gt

va=u-g(t+2u/g)

va=-u-gt

so va=vb
