Two balls A and B have mass m and 3m. its velocities are v and 3v respectively. what is the ratio of momentum of A to that of B​

Correct answer is 1:1

Inertia depends on mass, and since the mass of the two balls are m and 3m, So the ratio of inertia of the balls 1:3

Momentum, p = mv

So, as per momentum equation, it depends on both mass and velocity.

so their ratio = m × v : 3m × 3v = 1:1
