1:1

v 1=  \sqrt{2gh}

v2 =  \sqrt{2gh2}

v1=v2

ie

v1 { }^{2}  = v2 { }^{2}

therefore 2gh = 2gh2

:. h= h2

:. h/h2 =1/1

:.h : h2= 1:1

Answer:

Ratio = 1 : 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given;-

               alpha (let) = ∅

              beta (let) = 90 - ∅

Now, their horizontal range and maximum height will be equal if sum of alpha and beta is complementary according to concept of trajectory in 2-D projectile motion.

Now,

                 alpha + beta = 90

                ∅+ 90-  ∅ = 90

                            90 = 90

Hence, the ratio of their maximum vertical height will be 1 : 1.
