Two balls of masses 'm' each are raised to high 'h' and '2h' respectively. What will be the ratio of masses heir potential energies?

Vaswata11: Potential Energy = Mass × g × Height
Vaswata11: As both blocks have the same mass, and obviously same gravitational acceleration g
Vaswata11: Thus P.E directly proportional to Height
Vaswata11: Through this you get the ratio of P.E as ratio of their heights
Vaswata11: i.e, 1:2

Hello
_____________________________________________________
time taken by ball  A = √(2h/g)
time taken by ball B  = √(4h/g )

RATIO = √(2h/g) / √(4h/g)
            = 2h/g / 4h/g
            = 2h/4h
            = 2/4
            = 1/2
