two balls of masses m1 and m2 are thrown vertically upward with same speed u . if air resistance is neglected, they will pass through their point of projection in the downward direction with what speed ??<br />​

given = m1 and m2  masses of balls same speed .

to find = speed

solution :-

let the initial velocities of balls are u  in upward motion.

final velocities of balls are V in upward motion.

displacement = s= 0

acceleration = a = g

apply the formula ,

v² -  u² = 0

so it indicates that the both the balls have same velocity.

that is v = u

           

the final answer is the point of projection in downward direction is with v = u  speed.
