Two balls p and q having masses 2kg and 4kg respectively are dropped from the same height simultaneously.show that they will reach the ground simultaneously.

two balls will come at same time only because gravity acts on all objects the same speed g=9.8 m/s

The relation of mass with that of the weight is an important point to be considered here. Our gravitational constant is approximated as 9.8m/s2.

This when multiplied with the mass to proportionalize it with the force gives the weight of the object. Here the weight of the later object is double that of the former and it's weight being more it would reach the ground earlier than than the former giving rise to a simultaneous touchdown.
