Velocity of ball S is given as

v_s = 30 m/s @ 45 degree

now the range at which it will hit the ground is given by

R = \frac{v^2 sin2\theta}{g}

now plug in all values in above equation

R = \frac{30^2* sin(2*45)}{9.8}

R_1 = 91.8 m

now for the other ball speed is given as

v_H = 20 m/s @ 15 degree

now the range at which it will hit the ground is given by

R = \frac{v^2 sin2\theta}{g}

now plug in all values in above equation

R = \frac{20^2* sin(2*15)}{9.8}

R_2 = 20.4 m

now the displacement between two balls after it hits on the ground

d = R_1 - R_2

d = 91.8 - 20.4 = 71.4 m

so the displacement will be 71.4 m
