two beakers a and b containing hot and cold water respectively are taken. a drop of ink is added in both. Name the phenomenon taking place in the above activity

The ink will spread faster in the hot water than in ice-cold water because diffusion is greater when the temperature is hot. Because the duration both the beakers were left undisturbed is the same (i.e., 30mins), the amount of particles that have spread is not the same.
