SoluTion :

Such question can be solved by Newton's second law of motion. As per this law, Net force acts on the system is defined as the product of mass and acceleration.

Force on block of mass 3kg = 3g

[In downward direction]

Force on block of mass 6kg = 6g

[In downward direction]

➝ Fnet = M × a

➝ (6g - 3g) = (6 + 3) × a

➝ 3g = 9a

➝ a = 3g/9

a = g/3 = 3.33m/s²
