Two boat starts from a ferry ghat of a 600 m wide river . The first boat starts

making an angle 30 degree with the bank of the ghat and second boat
starts making an angle 90 degree with the route of the first
boat . what is the distance between the boat after reaching at other

bank ??? ( please help me with diagram )

Distance = 600 tan 30 + 600tan 60 = (200 root 3) + (600 root 3) = 800 root 3

praveensingh8344: See , One boat is going at an angle of 30 degree from bank . So Angle with Verticle will be 60 degree.Distance from that point in horizontal = 600 tan60 .Now another boat is going at angle of 90 degree from the direction of first one.So its angle is 30 degree from vertical. So.So distance covered is 600 tan 30. This is shown in the diagram .
