Hey,

Your answer is :-

Let, the mass of body A be 3x and mass at d body B be 1x

°•° ration of their kinetic energy is 1:3

So,

(1/2m1v1^2)/(1/2m2v2^2) = 1/3

=> (3x×v1^2)/(x×v2^2) = 1/3

=> v1^2/v2^2 = 1/9

=> (v1/v2) = √(1/9)

=> v1/v2 = 1/3

hence, ration of their velocity is 1:3

Answer:

m1/m2=5/1..........(1)

k.e1/k.e2=125/9...........(2)

K.E=1/2mv²

K.E1/K.E2=(1/2m1v1²)/(1/2m2v2²)

=>125/9=5/1*(v1/v2)²

=>125/9*5=(v1/v2)²

=>25/9=(v1/v2)²

=>(5/3)²=(v1/v2)²

5/3=v1/v2

The ratio of their velocities is 5:3.
