Thus if n = 1 then tA = tB

Explanation:

Given u=0

  • Let distance travelled by by Bodies A = SA
  • Let distance travelled by by Bodies B = SB
  • Let acceleration is a.

Using second equation of motion:

S = ut + 1/2 at^2

SA / SB = 1/2 at^2A ÷ 1/2 atb^2

SA / SB  = t^2 A / t^2 B = n

If n ≥ 1 ,  t^2 A / t^2 B ≥ 1 => tA ≥ tB

If n = 1  t^2 A / t^2 B  =  1

Then

tA = tB

Thus if n = 1 then tA = tB
