two bodies A and B of mass 5 kg and 10 kg in contact with each other rest on a table against a rigid wall. the coefficient of friction between the bodies and the table is 0.2, when the force of 200 N is applied horizontally on A. which of the following is correct?
1) the reaction of wall is 200 N
2) the action reaction force between A and B is more than reaction of wall
3) the action reaction force between A and B is less than reaction of wall
4) both (1) and (3) are correct

Explanation:

Let reaction force on A by B be N1

and that of B by wall is N2

so fir block A

F-N1=Ma

Since both are at rest a=0

F-N1=0

F=N1=200N

for block B

N1-N2=ma

again a=0

N1=N2=200N
