Two bodies A and B of same mass are moving with velocities v and 2v respectively.

Compare their i) inertia ii) momentum.

Answer:

Mass of 1st body = m

Velocity of 1st body = v

Momentum of 1st body = mv

Mass of second body = m

Velocity of second body = 2v

Momentum of 2nd body = m.2v = 2mv

Hence momentum gets doubled.
