So here the mass is given of the two bodies as 1 Kg and 3Kg

  • Ratio of time taken by these bodies will be irrespective of their masses because gravity acts similar to all bodies provided in vaccum!
  • By second eq of motion i.e. S(displacement) = ut + ½gt²
  • Hence it is dropped then the initial velocity is obviously zero
  • Then it goes like this -: S = ½gt²
  • For the first body i.e. on 16m
  • 16 = ½*10*t² ( g = 10m/s²)
  • t = 4/√5 sec
  • For second body 25m
  • 25 = ½*10*t²
  • t=√5 sec
