Given :

Two bodies are moving in a different circular tracks with the same speed.

Ratio of radii = 2 : 1

To Find :

Ratio of their angular speeds.

Solution :

★ Angular velocity of a body moving in a circular path of radius r at a speed of v, is given by

  • ω = v/r

Angular speed is defined as the rate of change of angular position of particle moving in a circular path.

Here linear velocity of both parties are is same.

Therefore we can say that,

→ r₁ω₁ = r₂ω₂

→ r₁/r₂ = ω₂/ω₁

  • ATQ : r₁/r₂ = 2 : 1

→ ω₂/ω₁ = 2/1

ω₁ : ω₂ = 1 : 2

(C) is the correct answer!
