Solution :
★ Angular velocity of a body moving in a circular path of radius r at a speed of v, is given by
- ω = v/r
Angular speed is defined as the rate of change of angular position of particle moving in a circular path.
Here linear velocity of both parties are is same
Therefore we can say that,
→ r₁ω₁ = r₂ω₂
→ r₁/r₂ = ω₂/ω₁
- ATQ : r₁/r₂ = 2 : 1
→ ω₂/ω₁ = 2/1
→ ω₁ : ω₂ = 1 : 2
∴ (C) is the correct answer!
