the common velocity will be zero (0).

mass=1kg.
v=2m/s.
hence,p=mv
p=1×2=2kg.m/s
momentum of first body=2kg.m/s& second body is also2kg.m/s.
now, common velocity=2/2=0m/s
v=2m/s.
hence,p=mv
p=1×2=2kg.m/s
momentum of first body=2kg.m/s& second body is also2kg.m/s.
now, common velocity=2/2=0m/s
