Here it is given that,

⟹ Mass of two bodies in the ratio = 3:1

⟹ Both of these bodies experience forces which impact to them acceleration in the ratio 2:9 respectively.

⟹ We have to find the ratio of the forces the masses experience.

We know,

 \implies \: \boxed{F = m  \times  a }

Here,

  • F = force
  • m = mass
  • a = acceleration

Now,

⟹ Let the forces be F₁ and F₂

  • F₁ = Force applied on first body
  • F₂ = Force applied on second body

 \tt  \implies \: F_1 = 3 \times 2 = \bf 6 \: N

And

 \tt  \implies \: F_2 = 1 \times 9 = \bf 9 \: N

Then,

 \tt  \implies \: F_1  : F_2 = 6 : 9 =   \boxed{\bf2 : 3}
