Kinetic energy of the body K= ½ mv²
For same mass m, K∝ v²
Given : v1 = v and v2 = 4v
Thus ratio of kinetic energy K1/K2 = v²1/v²2
∴ K1/K2 = v²/(4v)² = 1/16.
Hence, The ratio is 1:16.
