4m from the object of mass 400kg gravitational field becomes zero.

let at point O, gravitational field becomes zero.

so, gravitational field due to mass 400kg at O + gravitational field due to mass 6

900kg at O = 0

⇒G(400kg)/r² - G(900kg)/(10m - r)² = 0

⇒400/r² = 900/(10 - r)²

⇒20/r = 30/(10 - r)

⇒200 - 20r = 30r

⇒200 = 50r

⇒r = 4
