Let us consider for mass 4 kg
Potential energy P1 = mgh = 4×9.8×h ......eq(1)
For mass 9 kg
Potential energy P2 = mgh = 9×9.8×h .....eq(2)
Now dividing eq 1 and 2
P1/P2 = (4×9.8×h)/(9×9.8×h)
or P1/P2 = 4/9
So ratio b/w pE of mass 4kg and 9 kg is 4:9
Potential energy P1 = mgh = 4×9.8×h ......eq(1)
For mass 9 kg
Potential energy P2 = mgh = 9×9.8×h .....eq(2)
Now dividing eq 1 and 2
P1/P2 = (4×9.8×h)/(9×9.8×h)
or P1/P2 = 4/9
So ratio b/w pE of mass 4kg and 9 kg is 4:9
