Explanation:

Given :-

  • Two bodies of mass m1 and m2 having equal KE .

To Find :-

  • the ration of their linear momentum will be

Solution :-

m1v1 = m2v2

v1/v2 = m2/m1

K1/K2 = (1/2m1v1²)/(1/2m2v2²)

K1/K2 = (m1/m2)/(v1/v2)²

K1/K2 = (m1/m2)/(m2/m1)²

K1/K2 = m2/m1

Hence The ration of their linear momentum will be m2/m1
