Mass of the bigger body = M = 2 Kg

Mass of the smaller body = m = 1 Kg

Distance between them = r = 1 m

By the gravitational formula :-

Fg = GMm/ ( Fg = Force of Gravitation)

Fg = G × 2 × 1/1²

Fg = 2G

Fg = 2 × 6.673 × 10-¹¹ N

Note :-

= 'r' is the central distance between the two bodies.

= Here, we are taking the both particles as point masses. If we take body whose masses are unifrom then this relation will not work.

= For uniformly distributed masses body we use different types of formula.

= The value of 'g' is not constant it varies with depth and altitude. To find variation with altitude. We have two cases,

If height of body is more or near to Radius of earth then we use,

g' = g.R²/(R+h)²

If h<<R

g' = g(1-2h/R) ( h = height and R = Radius of Earth)

To find with depth....

g' = g(1-d/R) ( d = depth and R = Radius of Earth)
