Two bodies of masses 2kg and 4kg start moving towards each other due to mutual gravitational attraction. What is the velocity of their centre of mass ?​

Answer:

the velocity of COM is zero because there is no external force acting on the system .. therefore system is in equilibrium i.e. velocity of COM is zero.
