Explanation:

K.E. = mv^2/2

K.E. for two diff. mass M and 2M :

(2Mv1^2/2) / (Mv2^2 /2) = 8/1

(2v1^2)/(v2^2) = 8/1

v1^2 / v2^2 = 4/1

v1/v2 = 2/1

then ratio of momentum :

= 2Mv1 : Mv2

= 4:1
