Answer

Ratio of momentum p₁ : p₂ = 4 : 5

K.E₁ = mv²÷2

K.E₁ = (mv)²/2m

K.E₁ = (p₁)²/2m

K.E₂ = mv²/2

K.E₂ = (mv)²/2m

K.E₂ = (p₂)²/2m

K.E₁ : K.E₂ = (p₁)²/2m ÷ (p₂)²/2m

Since, they have same masses

K.E₁ : K.E₂ = (p₁)² : (p₂)²

K.E₁ : K.E₂ = (4)² : (5)²

K.E₁ : K.E₂ = 16 : 25
