Two bottles of the same capacity are 35% and 33 1/3 % full of orange juice, respectively. They are filled up completely with apple juice and then the contents of both bottles are emptied into another vessel. The percentage of apple juice in the mixture is:

let us take total capacity of both bottles = 200 %

part of two bottles filled with orange juice is 35 % and 33\frac{1}{3} % %

so,

total part filled with orange juice = 35+\frac{100}{3} = \frac{105 +100 }{3}=\frac{205}{3}  % %

the remained part of both apples was filled with apple juice

so,

part filled with apple juice = 200-\frac{205}{3}  =\frac{600-205}{3} =\frac{395}{3}%

percentage of apple juice = \frac{\frac{395}{3} }{200} *100%

percentage of apple juice = \frac{395}{6}%
