Two boxers Maddy and Mac participated in a boxing match. In the final minute of the game, Maddy hit Mac with a thunderous punch on his head. After this Mac was unable to stand properly and keep his balance. Which part of Mac’s brain do you think was affected the most?

The cerebellum is the part of Mac’s brain do you think was affected the most.


Damage to the cerebellum can lead to:  the lack of ability to judge distance and when to stop (dysmetria), loss of synchronization of motor movement (asynergia), the lack of ability to perform rapid alternating movements (adiadochokinesia),  movement trembles (intention tremor), staggering, wide-based walking and many more.
