Given that,
Boy A do the work in 5 min and Boy B do the same work in 6 min.
We have to tell which of the boys has more power.
Since power is defined as the rate of doing work,
i-e.
Power = Work / Time
So, If Boy A does 'x' joules of work in 5 min.Then,
Power = x/5 J/min
Power = x/300 J/sec
Power = x/300 Watt ........ (1)
If Boy B does 'x' joules of work in 6 min.Then,
Power = x/6 J/min
Power = x/360 J/sec
Power = x/360 Watt .......... (2)
From (1) and (2) , it is clear that, Boy A has more power then Boy B.
Hopefully it helps. Thanks.

Given:
Let the work done be = X J
Boy A does in =5min
BOY B does in = 6min
Power is defined as rate of doing work.
P=Work done/ time
Power of Boy A=( X/5 )J/min
= X/300 J/sec
= X/300 Watt
Power of Boy B=( X/6) J/min
= X/360 J/sec
= X/360 Watt
If we compare work done by two boys then it's evident that Boy A does more work than BOY B.
