Given : Two boys, P and Q start from the same point A

P starts running along the diameter and reaches point B,

while in the same time, Q covers half of   the circle along the circumference.

To find : The ratio of the displacement of P and Q

Solution:

Two boys, P and Q start from the same point A

and reaches point B,

Displacement  =  Final position - Initial Position

For both final position is B

and initial position = A

Hence Displacement for both is Diameter

Hence ratio of the displacement of P and Q is:   1: 1

HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:-

Two boys, P and Q start from the same point A. P starts running along the diameter and reaches point B, while in the same time, Q covers half of the circle along the circumference.

TO FIND:- The ratio of the displacement of P and Q is:

SOLUTION:-

Displacement =( final position - initial position)

According to question,

There are two runner, P and Q.

P start running along the diameter of circle from point A and reaches at point B.

So the displacement of P = (r + r)

= 2r.

And runner B start from point A and reaches at point B through circumference. So, he covered the distance = πr.

But the displacement = (r+r)

= 2r.

Here the displacement of P and Q are same (2r) from point A to point B .

Therefore, the ratio of displacement of P and Q are 1:1.

THANKS.
