two branches of south west monsoon winds are:-
The Bay of Bengal branch-West Bengal,Bihar,Jharkhand,Eastern Uttar Pradesh,Orrisa & Andhra Pradesh receive rainfall from this branch.
The Arabian Sea branch- West coast of India,Western slopes of the western Ghats,central and northern India receive rainfall from this branch.
