answer:This story was told by the Master while at Jetavana about a self-willed Brother. Said the Master to that Brother, "This is not the first time, Brother, that you have been self-willed; you were of just the same disposition in bygone times also; and therefore it was that, as you would not follow the advice of the wise and good, you came to be cut in two by a sharp sword and were flung on the highway; and you were the sole cause why a thousand men met their end." And so saying, he told this story of the past.
Answer:once upon a time, there were two brothers in a village who were greedy. They once heard that a treasure was hidden in the middle of the forest which was near to their village. But no one dared to go into the forest as there were many wild animals in it. As the two brothers were greedy, they started their journey to find the treasure. They found the treasure in-between the forest. They thought that it wasn't safe to go into the village with such a large amount. And they planned to go into the village at midnight so that no one can observe them. Meanwhile, the second one of the two brothers, said that he was going to get some food to stay until midnight. Both the brothers were so greedy that they don't want to share the treasure. So the second one added poison to the food he brought but the first one didn't know this and he killed him with the knife he brought to the forest. And he ate the food. As the food is poisoned, he also died.
Moral: Ones greedy can even kill one.
