d= s×time= 37.8km/h ×t (1)
d= s×time= 25.2km/h ×(t+5min 50s) (2)
equating (1) and (2)
we have,
37.8km/h×t=25.2km/h×(t+5m 50s)
378/252=t+5m 50s/t
3/2=1+5m 50s/t
1.5-1= 5m 50s/t
.5t= 5m 50s
t=350s/.5= 700s
From equation (1) or (2)
D= speed ×time= 25.2km/h × (700s+5m 50sec)
=25200m×1050s/60×60 sec
=7m×1050= 7350m or 7.35km
