Two bulbs 60W, 220V and 40W, 220V are connected in series. Which of the bulb will glow brighter? While u find ur answer please explain me how will u find the resistance R using Vsquare/R formula or I square R.....how can you say more power is dissipated by 40W bulb.

Aswer my question correctly and i will mark it brainliest...

Hello

Remember that in series connection always use I²R because the current is same in a series connection.

Also remember that while connected in series the more the power the brighter the bulb will glow or you can say that in a series connection the bulb with less resistance will glow brighter than the other.

So here the 60W bulb will glow brighter

Arjunmalikpm: Sorry this is wrong
Arjunmalikpm: Power is directly proportional to resistance to 40 W will be brighter
jaslynshawn: wat jst happened?
