given
Two bulbs
for A=100w, 120v
for B=10w,120v
we know P=(V×V)/R
and I=V/R
so for A
R=(120×120)/100=144 ohm
I=V/R=120/144=0.8333 Amp
for B
R=(120×120)/10=1440 ohm
I=V/R=120/1440=0.0833Amp
equivalent resistance =1/Ra+1/Rb=1/44 + 1/1440= 130.91
power for A =I^2*R= 0.8333×0.8333×130.91=90.902
power for B= 0.083×0.083×130.91=
0.90w
bulb A consume more power
