Probability is total no of defective bulbs/ total no of bulbs =15+5/100+200 =20/300 =2/30

Answer:

7/80

Step-by-step explanation:

Ei is event selecting box i

PE1)=P(E2)=1/2

A is event of selecting a defective bulb

P(A/E1)=15/100 and P(A/E2)=5/200

Required probability is P(A)=7/80
