two bulbs of 60W and 100W are connected in series with a supply of 220V . which one will glow brighter.

P1 =60W
P2=100W
V=220V
we know i=p/v
i1=60/220=0.27 ampere
i2=100/220=0.45 ampere
so,i2 is greater hence,glow brighter.
