OK
POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE=220V
POWER
50W AND 60W
SO RESISTANCE
FOR 50W
RESISTANCE=(220×220)/50=968 ohms
FOR 60W
RESISTANCE=(220×220)/60
=806.67 ohms
AS THEY ARE IN PARALLEL
THE SAME CURRENT FLOWS THROUGH THEM
AND TOTAL RESISTANCE
=(1/968+1/806.67)^-1
=
(968+806.67/780856.56)^-1
=440 ohms
now
current=potential difference/resistance
=220/440
=0.5 ampere
