Two bulbs one rated 100w 220v and the other rated 60w 220v is connected in parallel . Find the current drawn by two bulbs form the line if the supply voltage is 220v.

1st case. 2nd case.
P = 100w P = 60w
V = 220v V = 220v
I = P/V I = P/V
= 100 / 220 = 60/220
= 5/11 = 3/11
= 0.45 = 0.27
