Two bullets of same metal and mass 10 gm and 5 gm respectively collide against a target with the same velocity. If the whole energy of the bullet is used up in increasing their temperatures then greater increase of temperature will be in which one of the bullet?????

I think.........
the greater increase in temperature will be seen in the one which have the greater energy. since both the bullets are running with same velocity thus the one with the greater mass will have greater energy & also the grater rise in temperature........

16Devesh16: this shows that Temperature is directly proportional to the kinetic energy which is a mass function , so the one with greater mass will have a greater increase in Temperature.
