Answer:

The ratio of the speed of the buses starting 200 kms apart is 3:2.

Explanation:

What is Speed , Distance and Time ?

Speed is determined by dividing the distance travelled by the time taken to travel it. It gives the amount of time it took to travel a certain distance divided by the distance travelled.

Speed is inversely correlated with time and directly correlated with distance.

Distance is a measurement of how far away two things or locations are, either numerically or occasionally qualitatively. Distance can refer to a physical length in physics or to an estimate based on other factors in common use.

Time taken to cross each other be t hrs.

Distance travelled by each buses are 120 km and (200-120) = 80kms.

Speed of each buses are :

\frac{120}{t} \ and \ \frac{200-120}{t}.

Ratio of Speed is :

\frac{\frac{120}{t} }{\frac{80}{t} } = \frac{120}{80} = 3:2

Option 3 :The ratio of their speed is 3:2  .
