Greetings..!

Total number of votes polled = 9650

Percentage of votes received by A = 54% = 54% of 9650 = 54/100*9650 = 5211 votes

So, votes received by B = Total Votes - No of votes got by A = 9650 - 5211 = 4439

Answer : Hence, A got 5211 votes and B got 4439 votes.

Let to be Total received Votes be 100

then..

Following the Question Rule.

A GOT=54%

THEN,

B Got Votes=100-54(%}

=46%

Then.....

Now change percentage into Simplest Form
by Using percentage Formula...

Totally Polled Votes=9650

then

A received Votes=54/100×9650
=5211

Again...

B received Votes=46/100×9650
=4439
