let the no.of votes received by A be "k"
then no. of votes by B be "9650-k"
if A received 54 votes mor than B
so,
K-54 =(9650-k)
2k=9704
k=4852

so A received 4852 votes
and B 4798 votes.

HOPE IT HELPS
THANK YOU.
