Answer:

Total number of votes polled = 9650

Votes received by A = 54% of the total votes

=>  \frac{54}{100} ×9650

=> Votes received by A=   5211

Votes received by B = 9650-5211

=> Votes received by B = 4439   Ans.

Total no of votes polled = 9650 .
number of votes got to A candidate in percentage = 54 .
therefore number of votes got to B candidate

= 54/100*9650
= 521100/100
= 5211.00/1.00
=5211 .
9650-5211
